An unreleased "Claude Money" feature turned up in the Claude iOS app

Screenshots surfaced by TestingCatalog show a bank-linking onboarding screen under a new Money tab in Claude''s mobile navigation -- unannounced and unconfirmed by Anthropic.

TestingCatalog, a site that tracks unreleased AI-app features, published screenshots on September 14 of a "Money" entry appearing below Chats in the Claude iOS app's sidebar, leading to an onboarding screen with a piggy-bank illustration. The onboarding text reads "Understand your money with Claude," followed by a prompt to "Link your bank accounts and ask Claude about spending, plans, and more." Reporter Alexey Shabanov's piece is upfront that this is discovered, not announced: Anthropic has not confirmed the feature, given a timeline, or commented on it, and the article notes "the launch timeline remains unknown."

What it would actually do, if it ships

Based on what's visible in the interface strings, the feature would let users link bank accounts directly rather than uploading statements or CSVs one at a time -- giving Claude a persistent connection it could use to summarize balances, flag recurring payments and answer spending questions conversationally. There's no equivalent tab visible on Claude's web client, and no sign yet of which banking-data provider (Plaid or similar) would sit behind the linking flow, since that plumbing isn't something interface screenshots reveal.

This is worth flagging precisely because it's unconfirmed: treat it as a feature spotted in development, not a launched product, until Anthropic says otherwise.
