Pigment raises $250 million at a $2.3 billion valuation, led by the EU's Scaleup Europe Fund

The Paris planning-software company says it passed $100 million in annual recurring revenue this year and that 85% of new metrics in its product are now created by an agent.

Pigment, a Paris company that sells business planning and performance-management software, announced on October 21 a "$250 million Series E funding round" at a "$2.3 billion valuation." The round was led by the "Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT," with World Innovation Lab joining and existing investors Greenoaks, ICONIQ, IVP and Meritech taking part. The announcement also mentions "a planned investment from NVIDIA."

What the company says it has

Pigment says it "surpassed $100 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) earlier this year, once again doubling year-over-year." It names Danone, Siemens, Snowflake, ServiceNow and Unilever as customers, along with Anthropic, ElevenLabs and Uber, and says L'Oréal replaced its salary planning tool with Pigment for more than 95,000 employees. Its headline AI figure is that "85% of new metrics in Pigment are created by an Agent." The money is going to R&D, engineering hires, its Graphite compute engine and agents that run planning workflows end to end. "Enterprise planning will change more in the next few years than it has in the last thirty," said co-founders Eléonore Crespo and Romain Niccoli.

Why it matters

The 85% figure counts how many metrics an agent creates, not whether those metrics are right or get used, and every number here is company-reported. If your finance team is evaluating agent-built plans, ask the vendor how often people correct or delete what the agent creates, and test it on last quarter's numbers before trusting it with next quarter's.
